It is easy to forget of film photography as being a physical art form. It is a representation of the world around you, but at the same tim,e it is the world around you. Light bounces off the world into the lens of a camera, protons activate silver residue carrying with them some energy, some truth of the objects they come from. When I can, I always try to recover the ends of my film, the often discarded scraps, I want to be able to preserve as much of the energy I recieve.
